Individuals with mild Alzheimer’s, related dementias and mild cognitive impairment are welcome. In order to attend, participants must be accompanied by a family member or care partner.
June’s program is What’s New in Memory Loss and Alzheimer’s Research—Steve Satak, President and Founder of Great Lakes Clinical Trials, will lead an educational session and Q&A regarding the latest advancements in Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss research.
Additionally, the Great Lakes team will be on hand to perform free genetic testing for the APOE (Alzheimer’s gene) via a cheek swab for attendees between 60–75 years of age.
Light refreshments will be served.
