Great Lakes Clinical Trials is proud to sponsor Howard Brown Health’s 26th annual National Senior Health and Fitness Day, the nation’s largest older adult health promotion event.
Across the country, this event will engage over 100,000 older adults at more than 1,000 events. The theme for this year is “Live and Thrive with Exercise.” During the event, attendees may enjoy health and wellness focused screenings, programs, and services for over 200 older adult community members.
Founded in 1974, Howard Brown has served a critical role in community health, emphasizing underserved populations including LGBTQ people, uninsured populations, and those living with chronic disease.
Locally, this event will take place on May 29th at Howard Brown Health Clark (6500 N. Clark St.) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This year’s jam-packed schedule includes:

10-10:30 a.m.: Welcome Breakfast
10:30-11 a.m.: Mindfulness Workshop
11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Yoga Session
11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Line Dancing (parking lot)
12-12:30 p.m.: Take Charge of Your Health Workshop
12:30-1:30 p.m.: Lunch/Bingo
1:30-2:30 p.m.: Know the 10 Signs Educational Session
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Zumba Class
3:30-4 p.m.: Living Well with Diabetes Educational Session
4-4:30 p.m.: Ask a Provider Session
4:30-5:30 p.m.: Advance Care Planning Session
