Free Seminar on What's New in Memory Loss Research for the Edgewater Village Community

Steve Satek, President and Founder of Great Lakes Clinical Trials, will lead a complimentary educational session and Q&A regarding the latest advancements in Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss research to the Edgewater Village Community.

In a recent survey of 10,000 individuals in ten countries, 62% said that they worry they may develop Alzheimer’s disease. Of those people, 91% believe the solution to tackling the disease lies in medical research and 79% said that they would be willing to participate in medical research.

Memory Loss affect nearly everyone—whether we see it in our families, our friends or our community. Steve Satek, President and Founder of Great Lakes Clinical Trials will present updates on the latest breakthroughs in Memory Loss and Alzheimer's Disease research, including a discussion of opportunities to participate in local research studies and prevention trials.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Additionally, the Great Lakes team will be on hand to perform free genetic testing for the APOE (Alzheimer’s gene) via a cheek swab for attendees between 60-75 years of age.
