"What's New in Memory Loss Research" Educational Session at the Schneider Apartments

Steve Satek, President of Great Lakes Clinical Trials, will lead a presentation for residents of the Schneider Apartments about the benefits of medical research and how you can help make a difference in finding a treatment and or cure for diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.

In a recent survey of 10,000 individuals in ten countries, 62% said that they worry they may develop Alzheimer’s disease. Of those people, 91% believe the solution to tackling the disease lies in medical research and 79% said that they would be willing to participate in medical research.

Memory Loss affect nearly everyone—whether we see it in our families, our friends or our community. Steve Satek, President and Founder of Great Lakes Clinical Trials will present updates on the latest breakthroughs in Memory Loss and Alzheimer's Disease research, including a discussion of opportunities to participate in local research studies and prevention trials.

Additionally, the Great Lakes Clinical Trials team will be on site to book complimentary memory assessments for those over 60 years of age and will also be offering free genetic testing for the ApoE Alzheimer’s gene for those between 65-75 years of age.
